Served with our favorite pairing of popcorn and a movie, this was delicious from the get go. Lots of red fruit notes, along with a clear floral aroma, some bright citrus and a very full mouthfeel made for a delightful experience that was actually a bit big/rich for the popcorn. We soldiered on anyway, and happily had our share. Left a big glass for the next night, and it had just as much power as when first opened. The one caveat is that as the wine warmed in the glass it did pick up a touch of green. It wasn’t quite “grassy” but I don’t have a better word for it. Not an issue at all when the wine was cooler either the first or second day.
