Did I intend to age this for almost 13 years? No. Do I regret it? Heck no! This was both fascinating and delicious. Mouthwatering acidity, crisp berry fruit that had picked up warm spice notes (think cinnamon, clove, etc.), and a touch of green tobacco and dusty earth along the edges had me going back for another sip almost faster than I could swallow the last one. This was one of the most interesting wines I have had in a very long time.
