We visited Nesserhof when in Bolzano several years ago. It's a small oasis in the middle of the industrial part of the city. The Nesserhofs were very hospitable. We went there to get a white wine, whose name I don't recall, which they were about the only ones still making in Alto Adige.Steve Kirsch wrote:Here are a couple of wines that I really love. Neither is easy to find here in Michigan, so I have to expend some effort to have them shipped to me. When I drink them I get feelings of bliss! 1) Nusserhof reds (Lagrein, Elda, Teroldego), 2) Massimo Clerico (Spanna, Lessona). Not all of my wine-loving friends appreciate them as I do.
