- 2009 Zilliken (Forstmeister Geltz) Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (1/24/2025)
Brought by a friend to our dinner at Sichuan Pepper (Vernon, CT), this was in a fantastic spot. Excellent depth and balance, not overly sweet, with an undercurrent of acidity that was always supportive, but never obtrusive. Peach and lime along with a bit of a salty finishing tang, it was a great accompaniment to our food and conversation.
