2005 Quinta do Crasto Douro Reserva Old Vines - always a reliable wine if you are looking for a red from Portugal that isn't Port. Dark fruit in the nose (blackberry plus some forest floor/mushroom) and a medium length clean finish. I noted some cedar developed in the nose toward the end of the bottle
Also stumbled across a couple of other dry reds when looking for the Crasto - a 1999 Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional and a 1999 Niepoort Douro Redoma that may be getting a tad long in the tooth, so will put them on my mental tasting list.
