I consumed my last of 8 bottles of 2001 Pegau Res. recently and although a bit tired, it was very enjoyable. So I was 6 for 8 with one corked and one cooked/funky in a very bad way. Two cases of the 2020 are held for me presently to be shipped when weather permits. Low temps now can drop to low single digits so I will wait but 2020 is now my favorite recent vintage.
Pegau is one of my favourites - very reliable. I still have some 2001 - will make a mental note (usually worth the paper it isn't written on) to try one soon. The only earlier bottle I have is a 1990 Cuvée Laurence that I have been hoping to work into a vertical tasting some time (I've done a couple of Pegau verticals and I think Jenise was there!)
