- 2017 Rhys Pinot Noir Bearwallow Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley (1/8/2025)
Markedly deeper than any prior vintage of Bearwallow Pinot I have had, and with more tannic structure, this is the first time that Bearwallow has fit my personal Pinot sweet spot. It’s not texturally heavy, but it has greater breadth and depth than previous years, and not a trace of watermelon!
