1994 Porto, Taylor, Fladgate & Yeatman

Classic Taylor just coasting onto its plateau of maturity. Wonderful, complex aromas, well balanced on the palate, and just a small amount of tannic roughness. Enjoyable now, especially if you like your vintage Port on the younger side, but should improve over the next decade. Curly Larry Moe.

Thanks for the note - I have a half case of this that I have been keeping my hands off (with some reluctance). Sounds like it is time to try a bottle.

David if you mean the 94 Fonseca it is still on the rise although tasty now. I'm holding mine a few more years.

On the Taylors, even the 1967 Vargellas is still getting better and better.

In the 94 Ports, the one that is forward and lends itself to early drinking is the Warres.
