Delving deeper into my new Carlisle arrivals, I cracked last night:
1. Carlisle Zin SonomCnty (15.0%; Century old vines + Mixed Blacks; 265 cs) 2022: Dark color; strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/bit spicy/peppery some pencilly/toasty/oak somewhat bright nose; lightly tart strong spicy/Zin/blackberry/boysenberry lightly peppery modest pencilly/toasty/oak pleasant enough flavor w/ light modest tannins; long ripe/blackberry/Zin/spicy finish tat tracks flavor; a pleasant easy-drinking Zin that speaks of Carlisle & RRV; just a bit on the soupy side but fairly priced at $26.00.

More dicklespurt from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I liked the recent SonomaCnty Syrah more than this SonomaCnty Zin; Mike's two basic value wines in his portfolio. This wine was just a bit on the boring side. But fairly priced.
