- 2000 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (11/27/2024)
From my late father’s cellar this is in a perfect drinking spot. The fruit has developed a breadth of expression, still definitely cherry-based, but warmer (not hot) and comforting. Old leather, dusty earth, and herbs all make an appearance - it’s a classic expression of Châteauneuf du Pape. I have one more bottle, and will try to find an occasion to open it soon. This is too good right now to wait.

thanks for the heads-up; I have one, and would love to open it sometime soon.
