Had this last night for DinDin:
1. Carlisle The Derivative f'(x) SonomaCnty WW (14.1%; 81% Semillon/19% Muscadelle; 270 cs; Rossi Semillon @ 23.2 Brix; OldVine Pagani Muscadelle @ 21.6BRix; Frmtd in SS; Aged: 2 500l Taransaud plus Demi-muids + 300 l Stockinger brl & 4 285 l SS barls) Windsor 2022: Light gold color; strong figgy/Semillon bit waxy/paraffin light pencilly rather floral/marigolds some complex quite lovely nose; fairly tart/tangy some floral/figgy/Semillon bit waxy light pencilly/oak slightly rich flavor; very long/lingering figgy/Semillon finish that follows flavor; a fairly fragrant /floral expression of Semillon; a bit simple right now but sure to put on weight & develop over the next 4-8 yrs; quite a pretty bSemillon but will very likely get much better. $26.00

More drindlefurt from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. My Carlisle order arrived last week, so wanted to crack this White first. It just came off the boat & seemed a bit beat down but will undoubtedly get better.
Interesting that Mike has some Stockinger brls. Franz Stockinger is a barrel maker on the Northern border of Austria and is regarded as the maker of the Rolls-Royce of barrels.
