- 2021 Müller-Catoir Haardter Herzog Rieslaner Auslese - Germany, Pfalz (10/14/2024)
I have been drinking Müller-Catoir Rieslaner since the 1989 vintage. This is textbook Catoir Rieslaner. It has all the grilled peach and horseradish that I expect from late harvest Rieslaner, and when the variety’s inherent ferocity is combined with the electricity of the 2021 vintage the result is enough to power a small city.

Great title.
I love M-C across board, but Rieslaner might be fave.
I haven't actually bought much in a while, only have couple older vintages, should fix that.

I don’t know what might be on offer, but this wine was stupid cheap from Flatiron on DI.
