Thoroughly enjoying myself! And you?

by David from Switzerland » Sun Mar 11, 2007 5:25 pm

All my guests left, sitting here in the midst of a little mess, listening to some César Franck interpreted by the late Sergio Fiorentino, and – having a last well-filled glass of Henri Bonneau Célestins that had escaped the notice of my dear friends (although this may partly be due to the fact that I hid the decanter pretending it was empty and needed immediate rinsing with water). 8)

Guests included Andrea, Albino, Dani and Rainer. Albino did all the cooking, thank you very much! Was terrific, as always.

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

Sitting with a glass of Z-H Clos Windsbuhl Riesling. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Very sneaky of you hiding the decanter!

David, I just returned form a wine and food pairing dinner (notes to follow), but I'm sitting here sipping a glass of my home made Steueben with one of my sons. Too much dinner and wine to do a lot of coherent typing right now.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Doing some traveling.

Trying to plan a trip to India sometime. Not for the wine though. I'll manage to get back to Europe one of these days however!
