Tried these three this weekend w/ Susan:
1. Sanrome Dd'OCeG: Terre Alfieri Arneis (13.5%; WineBrideImprts/Davis/CA) Cascina Vengore/Cisterna d'Asti 2023: Light yellow color w/ lots of tiny bubbles that dissapate; quite fragrant/floral/honeysuckle/Arneis/honeyed light stony/perfumed talc/chlaky quite vlovely Arneis nose; lightly tart/tangy/metallic light bodied lightly floral/honeysuckle/Arneis/bit citrusy bright/zippy light chalky/perfumed talc bit quiet rather pretty flavor; fairly long bright/floral finish that tracks flavor; no signs of dissolved CO2; a rather lightweight/quiet pretty expression of Arneis but just that. $20.00 (KK)

2. Ryme Vermentino "Hers" LasBrisasVnyd/Carneros/SonomaCoast (12.1%; www.RymeCellars.com) Forestville 2023: Light golden color; lovely very fragrant Verm/floral/carnations/gardenias slight perfumed talc/chalky/mineral slight spicy/cardamon lovely nose; fairly tart/tangy very strong Verm/floral/gardenias slight spicy/cardamon fairly rich/lush lovely flavor; very long/lingering very floral finish; a rather lovely "Hers" but seems a bight lighter & less intense than recent ones; will put on weight over the next few yrs; a bit quieter than previous "Hers". $27.00

3. Gulp Hablo Orange Castille LaMancha (11.5%; Verdejo & SauvBlancT.EdwardsWines/NY) Parra Jimenez/Cuenca/Espana 2023: Rather orange/gold/bit browning color; slight orange/citrus rather phenolic/VM/resinous some nilla wafers/honey grahams lightly floral/zinnias/mango rather interesting some complex nose; rather soft/rich strong VM/resinous/phenolic honey/honey grahams/nilla wafers lightly floral/zinnias/mango rather rich/lushe/orangey rather pleasant flavor; a quite pleasant VM/orange wine that's not dominated by the phenolic character; not a profound VM but actually quite pleasant and at a good price. $21.00/1 l (KK)

More zilliferq from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I had never recalled seeing a wine from the Piemonte Terre Alfieri before. A region just to the West of Asti. It received its DOCG in 2020. It grows both Arneis (mostly) and Nebiolo.

2. Ryme: This is Megan's rendition of Vermentino done by convential fermentation. As opposed to the "His" that is made by skin-contact. When young, I generally prefer the "Hers", but the "His" really develops into an interesting wine.
I was a bit disappointed by this latest "Hers" because it seemed a bit quieter & lighter than previous versions. But it was just fresh off the boat the previous day & I suspect in a few weeks it will turn into an equally good "Hers".

3. Gulp Hablo: From the ugly label, it is obvious that this is a natural wine. They tend to have rather hipster/ugly labels. This was a quite pleasant orange wine because it was not dominated by the phenolic character. Even though it is a natural wine; it showed no funky/natty character at all.
