Salmon, rice with nori and furikake, broccoli
2019 Clos de la Roilette (Coudert) “Griffe du Marquis”Fleurie
A little tight, but rich and ripe yet still balanced. Black cherry, orange peel, a little cocoa. Lots of tannin for Fleurie, this could use time but I enjoy now., B+

Oysters, halibut cheeks, Swiss chard, honeynut squash
2022 Envinate Táganan Blanco
Superb, saline and citrus, floral, smoky. Snappy acids, long minerally finish, need more. A-

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.

I recognize those bottles!

(And never got around to trying either one yesterday, before they emptied)
