Had these two whites over the weekend:
1. Pastini Rampone Minutolo IGP: Valle d'Itria/Puglia WW (12.5%; www.Pastini.It; KermitLynch) I.Pastini/Valle d'Itria/Puglia 2020: Light gold color; rather floral/appley/apple blossom quite fragrant some earthy/dusty quite attractive nose; bit soft lightly lush/rich rather floral/apple blossom some earthy/dusty rather pleasant flavor; very long floral finish that tracks flavor; an altogether bit earthy/rustic pleasant white. $23.00 (AV)

2. Dom.Partage CriCri Chignin Vin de Savoie Blanc (11%; 100% Jaquere grape; JeffreyAlpertSlctns/Tenafly/NJ) 2021: Med.gold color; rather earthy/dusty fairly funky/natty/bit unclean slight floral/appley/stony rather unattractive nose; bit soft fairly earthy/dusty/bit loamy rather natty/funky some tangy/metallic mostly no fruit rather rustic no Savoie/alpine flowers character unattractive flavor; long rather funky/natty finish w/ a very foul/oxidative/wet dog fur aftertaste that ruins this wine; a pretty strong natural wine that displays the natty character in all its ugliness; no Savoie character to speak of; pretty much undrinkable; very badly overpriced at $39.00 (KK)

More blickerhof from TheBloodyPulpit:
1 Minutolo is a variety indiginous to the Valle d'Itria and was rescued from extinction two decades ago. An extremely rare grape that is grown nowhere else. I liked the wine as rather fragrant/floral for a Puglia white but thought the wine had nothing particularly distinctive about it.
The Cri Cri was dominated by the natural winemaking & showed no Savoie character whatsoever. Nothing to recommend it.
