Mary Taylor is touring the PNW and did an in-store at my favorite wine shop yesterday. I was so excited to meet her! She poured 7 wines, and on my recommendation to the proprietor (cuz I'd had one before thanks to Hoke Harden) one of them was this fantastic 100% Mauzac pet-nat. Obviously unfiltered, it tantalizes with cider-ish complexity and spice. A rare delight, and only $23--I bought a few more for my cellar.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
