2016 Molino Barbaresco Ausario Nebbiolo
A PnP: relaxed nicely in the glass and best after an hour. Plummy dark red fruit with appropriate acidity and noticeable tannins. No secondary development yet and more a food wine than a sipper at this stage; but it really sang with pasta in a fresh tomato sauce and Italian sausage patty on the side. A very good wine that will improve with additional cellaring.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Is this Mauro Molino? Around turn of the century the wines were pretty modern/glossy, but I had a recent version last year and thought pretty good (like yours).

Yes, 2016 Piedmont was such a big (and supposedly great) year, I had some awkward showings and decided to wait. But as always, depends on the specific wine.

There's no first name on the bottle. Just Molino (Agricola).
