Tried this new wine last night:
1. Dom.Jaume Ad'OP: Vinsobres (14%; 50% Syrah/40% Grenache/10% Mourvedre; Grape Expectations/Richmond/CA) Pascal & Richard Jaume 2019: Very dark color; strong blackberry/spicy Syrah slight floral/strawberry/plummy slight earthy/dusty/OV slight Rhonish/roasted slightly rustic/earthy fairly attractive nose that speaks mostly of Syrah; bit soft fairly strong Syrah/blackberry/plummy bit earthy/rustic flavor w/ some chewey/bitey tannins; med.long finish that tracks flavor; a rather simple/pleasant/bit rustic red that tastes like a Syrah grown in a fairly warm area; lacks the aromatics you'd like in a cold-climate Syrah; one small step above a Southern CdR because of the Syrah character; a pleasant rustic CdR-level red. $21.00 (SFW&S)

More keemosordi from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Vinsobres is one of the villages that generally go into Southern CotesDuRhone. It's at a higher elevation than most CdP, so some feel it gives them a bit of an edge. I don't see that in this wine.
