WTN: Ronchi Langhe Nebb Amphoris '20...(short/boring)

Tried this Nebb last night:
1. Az.Agr. Ronchi Dd'OC: Langhe Nebbiolo in amphoris (14.5%; Frmtd in SS; Aged: 1 yr in terracotta amphorae; NorthBerkeleyImprts) Ronchi di Giancarlo Rocca/Barbaresco 2020: Med.dark color; classic Nebb strong floral/lilacs/Nebb slight pungent/tarry some dusty/OV rather attractive nose; lightly tart fairly strong floral/lilacs/Nebb slight tarry/pungent classic Langhe Nebb but a bit heavier/intense than most w/ light rather gritty tannins; very long finish that tracks flavor; a bit more dense & extracted than most Langhe Nebb; lacks the soaring aromatics of good Nebb; a decent Langhe Nebb for the price. $30.00 (AV)

More reekerscab from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. This Nebb attracted my interest because it was aged in amphorae. I'm not sure exactly what the amphora adds to this wine except maybe softens it a bit on the palate. It's richer & not as lean as most Langhe Nebbs. They also make an Arneis in Amphorae as well.

I looked at this thinking it might be related to Umani Ronchi, whose wines I happily cellar, but it is a different winery and one unfamiliar to me. The wines sounds nice - I'll keep an eye out for it in the local market.

Yeah, Bill.... not a producer I'd ever tried.
