Had these two dessert wines a week ago:
1. SalemGlenWnry FrontenacGris (18%; www.SalemGlenVineyard.com) Salem Glen Vnyd & Wnry/Rochester/MN NV: Deep gold color; strong ripe/overripe/grapey/late harvesty light earthy/dusty not particularly complex nose; soft some alcoholic/fumey strong overripe/grapey/late harvesty/jammy quite sweet bit earthy simple flavor w/ no hybridy character; very long very overripe/grapey not very interesting finish; a wine dominated by athe overripe/grapey character but not very interesting or complex; no hybrid character5 whatsoever; pretty dull wine w/ all the sugar its only redeeming feature.

1. Pretty much a disaster on the dessert wine front. Pattys semifredo blew these two wines away.
