WTN: Novy Zin PaperaRanch '07....(short/boring)

Tried this old Novy Zin the other night:
1. Novy Zin PaperaRanchVnyd/RRV (15.7%) SantaRosa 2007: Dark color w/ some browning; strong pencilly/oak some blackberry/boysenberry/ripe Zin some RRV/peppery some cedary/pencilly/oldZin fairly complex still very much alive w/ some diminished fruit nose; soft quite ripe/bit alcoholic some blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/spicy/peppery bit cedary/pencilly/oldZin some complex bit tired flavor w/ light bit dried-out tannins; very long bit hot/alcoholic slightly drying finish; lost some of its fruit & showing a bit of wear&tear on the palate but still holding up & offers up some pleasure; on its downward decline but still rather interesting & hanging in there.

More papperdick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Clearly a Zin in its decline but still fairly pleasurable.
