- 2019 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru (7/11/2024)
Exactly what I wanted last night - pure Chablis character, even if a little on the riper side. Frankly that made it easier to just enjoy, rather than admire. Bright citrus and green apple fruit, and a dash of oyster shell on the finish took on the heat and humidity of mid-July and just pushed it aside. Delicious now, and lots of time in hand.
