WTN: Down on the Farm

2015 Anthill Farms Syrah Campbell Ranch Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (7/10/2024)
This is getting close to being in a perfect spot. Deep black fruit, subtle smoky and meaty notes are held together by firm but gentle tannins. The mouthfeel on this wine is excellent right now, it just needs a little more aromatic/flavor development from another 3-5 years of bottle age. Several hours of decanting helped, but cellar time will help even more.
