2. CougerCrest Syrah Golden'sLegacyVnyd/WallaWallaVlly (EG; 13.7%; [www.CougarCrestWinery.com](http://www.CougarCrestWinery.com) DeborahHansen/Winemaker 2007: Very dark color w/ some bricking; strong plummy/blackberry/Syrah/ripe/boysenberry strong toasty/Fr.oak slight roasted/Rhonish slight EA/volatile classic ripe WashState Syrah bit complex nose; rather soft/mushy/low acid strong toasty/oak bit hot/alcoholic strong plummy/Syrah/boysenberry/ripe bit volatile/hot slight metallic/aged flavor w/ some soft/ripe tannins; long bit hot/volatile finish that follows flavor; an attractive WashState Syrah nose but not delivers on the palate; the metallic character suggests it's on the downside. $nc (D&GBrooks)

More lickeyfurt from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I-B is a Mosel producer w/ whom I'm not familiar. The CAI stands for Carl August Immich, the original founder of this Mosel estate. It is quite a pretty Mosel at an attractive price.
