More dickelspurt from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. VnydBrands was here in NM this weekend to show their Austrian portfolio. I tried their Gruner of this wie & liked it quite a lot. So decided I step up in price & try this R. Loved it. Gig back for more.
The Clare comes from this being an old-timey claret-type wine...light & drinkable. The J.C. stands for Jefferson/Corti cuvee. Darrell Corti came upon an old Jefferson TN from his time in Paris in the late 1700's. He asked to Izzy Vajra to duplicate thay kind of Barolo that TJ drank back in those day. If it was good for TJ, it's good enough for us Barolo lovers. Alas, TJ's score did not come w/ his TN.
