WTN: La Vie En Rose - Bastide Blanche, Turenne

With grilled bluefin tuna, pasta with a basil vinaigrette, salad:

2023 Turenne "Histoire d'Haut" Rose (Vin de France)
(Pretty sure I was told this is in Provence, unsure why VdF). Dark color for a rose (like a Cerasuolo), plenty of body, slight hint of spritz, Morello cherry and a touch of almond. Really as close to a light red as a dark rose. Interesting, but not rushing for more. B-/B
2023 La Bastide Blanche Bandol Rose
An annual favorite delivers again. Pale color but not pale flavors. Strawberries and dried cherry, herbs and citrus zest, long minerally finish. B++

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.

Not sure how I have skipped Bastide Blanche all these years.
