Normally I wouldn't expect a 2018 Kabinett to be open and ready to go, but the 2018 Selbach Oster Zeltinger Sonnenheur Riesling Kabinett has a fruity nose of slightly underripe apricot and a lovely follow-through of the same, with the texture of skin, moderate sweetness, and great acidity. Straw yellow. Not a ton of complexity yet but no reductive notes and just bright and lovely. 11%, screwcap.
