WTN: La Vie en Rosé - 2022 Tempier

by David M. Bueker » Fri Jun 14, 2024 8:01 pm

What is it about Tempier? Is it the exalted reputation that creates a sense of excellence even before the cork is pulled? The 2022 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé is wonderful, with all the fruity, floral notes riding above the earthy Mourvèdre core. All that said, I really do prefer a few extra years on Tempier Rosé. It deepens, which to me makes it even more distinctive. I need to save my last couple of bottles.

Yes, it's a shame to drink it young.
