Tried this new DryCreekVnyds Zin last week at Pig+Fig:
1. DryCreekVnyds Zin SomersRanch/DryCreekVlly (14.1%; Heritage clones; Vine age: 22 yrs; Hrvstd: Sept 16-24; 16 mo. in Fr/Hungarian/Am.oak; SaH: 26.8Brix, TA: 0.61%; 815 cs) 2021: Dark color; very strong very spicy/Zin/peppery/blackberry strong vanilla/oak quite fragrant rather dusty/OV bit complex nose; quite tart/tangy very spicy/Zin/peppery/blackberry some vanilla/oak rather dusty/OV flavor w/ some tangy tannins; loads of spicy/DCVlly Zin fruit; needs some 2-7 yrs yet; another lovely DCVnyds Zin. $48.00/$38.40 (VSP)

More twipplesnark from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. I've always been particularly fond of the DCV Somers & Beeson Zins because of the intensity of spicy DCVlly fruit they show. This lovely Zin is yet another in that long line of truly great Zins. DCVnyds doesn't enjoy the reputation of Carlisle/Bedrock/O&F zins but I think they are right up there at that level.
