We tried these two last week at Pig+Fig:
1. Delmore PinotNoir DrewRidgeTrailVnyd/SantaCruzMtns (14.5%; 2 brls; U) 2022: Very dark color; very strong black cherry/PN/cherry/floral classic SCM PN slight Burgundian fairly toasty/Fr.oak light earthy/dusty/OV complex beautiful nose; quite tart rich/structured strong black cherry/PN/ripe some toasty/smokey/Fr.oak very perfumed flavor w/ modest chewy tannins; very long black cherry/PN finish that mirrors flavor w/ some tannins; a structured intense PN that speaks strongly of SCM PN that reminds some of the MtEden PNs. $36.00

Delmore PinotNoir HumboltCnty (12%; Dry Farmed) 2023: Med.dark color; much quieter light cherry/PN/floral/violets light pencilly/Fr.oak bit earthy delicate quite pretty PN nose; fairly tart/tangy lighter floral/violets/PN/cherry some earthy/dusty some pencilly/oak bit earthy/dusty somewhat light/delicate flavor; very long floral/violets/PN finish that mirrors flavor; rather lighter & more aromatic & not as complex and not as structured as the SCM but quite a lovely/fragrant PN. $36.00

1. These two are from the latest Delmore release, which ncluded a SLOCoast Syrah. Generally, I prefer his Syrahs to his Pinots. Not this time. Both of these are quite lovely Pinots and maybe his best ones yet.
