Just bragging

I went up to pick up club wines in the Russian River Valley (Joseph Swah), Dry Creek Valley (Dry Creek Vineyards and David Coffaro), and Alexander Valley (Hawkes).
It was a beautiful, warm day, and I enjoyed 4 hours of wine tasting and some of the most pleasant scenery in the world.
In many ways it reminds me of the Rhone Valley.

I should have stayed in California! This has been the coldest wettest May I can remember, and it has continued into June. I'm having friends over today and we're going to pretend we're in the Mediterranean somewhere.
