Tried this new wine over the weekend:
1. Antiche Terre Venete Amore Assoluto (13.5%; Corvina grape; Tri-Vin Imprs/NewRochelle/NY) 2018: Fairly dark color; strong grapey/blackberry/bit Valpolicella-like slight earthy/dusty/rustic fairly attractive nose; lightly tart/tangy some grapey/blackberry/Corvina/Valpoll-like bit dusty/earthy/OV slightly rustic rather attractive grapey flavor w/ modest tangy tannins; med.long finish that follows the flavor; a quite pleasant bit rustic red that is a step up from most Valpolicellas; quite pleasant Italian red at a very attractive price. $12.00 (SFW&S)

More knickerspott from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Was doing some bottom-feeding at Susan's this weekend & spotted this new wine & thought I'd give it a try. This comes from the Verona area on the South end of Lake Garda, close by to Valpolicella. This is a natural wine but displays no natty character whatsoever. A pleasant if a bit rustic Italian red.
