2018 Jean-Louis Dutraive (Domaine de la Grand'Cour) Fleurie Clos de la Grand'Cour
Opened three days ago, found it both sappy and harsh so set it aside and retasted last night. In the days since it has lightened up and now shows a massive perfumey, floral nose with strong plastic-y Jolly Rancher Watermelon Candy notes on the midpalate (similar to what we've experienced in the '18 Clos Roilettes). That's actually an improvement over a few days ago, but I don't like it. Fie on the 18's!!!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
