- 2012 Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils Chablis Grand Cru Valmur - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis Grand Cru (4/30/2024)
A little over two years since my prior bottle of this, and it remains quite fresh. Plenty of that saline/oyster shell character, but with a dash of spice and richness on the palate. It’s maybe not the most bracing Chablis, but it’s 100% recognizable as Chablis from a high class site. The flavors are precisely executed, like Robert Fripp soloing during Fracture (IYKYK).

I don't see much Moreau but always enjoy when I try. The '14 of this was great.
Is the subject a Crimson reference?
