2005 Graf Hardegg Grüner Veltliner Veltlinsky Austria. $12.00 at Crush Wine and Spirits, New York City. Imported by Frederick Wildman & Sons, New York, NY.

Pretty yellow color, clear hue, a lemony aroma with hints of earth, firm lemon acidity, very fresh and easy to sip, light mouth feel, good finish. A very pretty wine at a very good price. 4*.

Bob, many thanks for this note. I love reading about (and drinking) Austrian wines.

I haven't had Graf Hardegg's GrüVe but I have had their Riesling (notes here). I was recently at Vintages but didn't see any GF Grüner.
