Interestingly, this Champagne house has hired Morgan Freeman as their product ad man - the shot shows both Morgan and the bottle all in black and white, with the advisory "Please Enjoy Champagne Responsibly" (as if we'd be chugging down multiple bottles at around $200 US a crack). Seems to me to be an effective ad. The caution about not drinking too much of it was in The Economist, where I saw it - don't know if it appears everywhere,

Love Morgan Freeman as an actor, and he has a great voice for commercials. But somehow I don't see him as a champagne adman.

Have to agree. Bourbon, maybe, but he doesn't strike one as a bubble guzzler. I thought that he in company with the bottle, done in black and white was quite effective, though.

I don't know. I don't really follow the Hollywood news, but what little I know about M. Freeman is that he's pretentious and enjoys doing Shakespeare. Sounds like Champagne fits pretty well.
