We tasted last week at Laura's Pig+Fig two Drew FogEaters Pinots:
1. Drew PinotNoir TheFogEater AndersonVlly (13.6%; Valenti/Balo/Fashauer/Josha's vnyds; 100% native yeast; 20% whole-cluster) Elk 2015: Med.color w/ some bricking; slight cherry/AV PN rather cedary/pencilly/oldRed somewhat tired nose w/ not a lot of fruit; lightly tart slight cherry/AV PN fairly cedary/pencilly/oldRed pretty tired flavor w/ light dried-out tannins; not completely gone but pretty much on its last legs. $40.00

2. Drew PinotNoir The Fog Eater AndersonVlly (13.0%; Clow Ridge & Valenti Ranch vnyds; 70% Calera/10% Swan/5% 943/5% 667/4% Pommard/3% 828/3% Rochioli clones; 20% whole-cluster; 10% new Fr.oak; Drk: 2024-2034:JD) 2022: Med.light color; fairly strong PN/cherry/spicy slight earthy light toasty/oak rather pleasant nose; rather tart/tangy bright/cherry/AV PN/spicy some pencilly/toasty/oak rather lightweight PN flavor w/ light tannins; med.long bright/cherry/PN finish w/ light tannins that mimics flavor; a pleasant PN that speaks of AV PN but rather lightweight and not terribly thrilling; a pretty/drinkable PN but just that. $50.00/$42.50

More fistakuff from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Jason & Molly's FogEater is their basic level Pinot. It is used as the sink for the Pinots that don't make the cut for vnyd-designate Pinots. It's always a pretty blend but seldom anything profound. I was a bit surprised how far along the '15 was.
