Had these two whites last night for DinDin:
1. Folicello Il Macerato PetNat IGT: Bianco Emilia White Sparkling Macerated Wine (12%; Ancestral Bottle Refermentation Unfiltered; No additional SO2; www.Folicello.It; Montuni/Pinot Bianco/Trebbiano; Scuola di Vino/Daly City/CA) Folicello/Castelfranco/Emilia 2022: Med.gold/burnished bronze color; really foams up & leaves lots of tiny bubbles; somewhat yeasty some phenolic/resiny/bit soda poppy rather quiet nose w/ scant aromatics; quite frizzante/foamy rather yeasty/bready very slight phenolic/resinous slight earthy very quiet near vapid flavor; short foamy finish that mimics flavor; a very peculiar/weird wine that's almost devoid of flavor & aroma; drink just for the bubbles & nothing else. $21.00 (KK)

More wittlesnort from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Folicello: Montuni is a new grape for me. Apparently grown only in Emilia. Some reference it as a white grape, others as a red grape. At nay rate, a very rare grape with little distinguishing character. A natural wine but shows no natty character, which might have helped this vapid wine in some sense.
