Tried this high-end Valtelline Nebb last night:
1. Tenuta Scersce Flammante DOCG: Valtellina Superiore Inferno Nebbiolo (14%; http://www.TenutaScersce.It; DallaTerra/Napa) 2019: Med.light color; rather earthy/pungent/licorice/tarry/road tar some floral/Nebb/lilacs/violets some dusty/OV slight volatile fairly deep/complex very attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy/acidic light pungent/tarry rather lightweight/Nebb/floral/lilacs/violets bit complex flavor w/ modest bit bitey tannins; long lightweight finish w/ light bitey tannins; a rather lightweight expression of Valtelline Nebb w/o the fragrant high-toned aromatics of Nebb you'd expect; an attractive lightweight Valtelline Nebb but nothing particularly profound that you'd expect at this price. $55.00 (SFW&S)

More skerklekrip from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. This is a new producer for me. Cristina Scarpellini. I tried her basic Rosso Nettare last weekend & was mightly impressed by it. It was quite light for a Valtelline Nebb, almost a rose, but it had beautiful Nebb floral aromatics. This had much the same aromatics, but slightly more intensity & depth. I'd like to try more of her Valtelline wines.
