Had this last night as my DinDin wine:
1. Ryme Fiano LagoVnyd/SonomaCnty (12.2%) 2015: Med.dark gold color; fairly strong pungent/earthy slight VM/phenolic/resiny some floral/zinnas/marigolds slight herbal/bit SB-like slight graham cracker quite interesting nose; bit soft slightly rich/lush light VM/phenolic/resinous some floral/herbal/marigolds/pungent bit earthy/graham cracker rather complex/interesting flavor med.long bit soft/ripe/lush finish that mirrors flavor; quite an interesting wine that has a bit of mature VM/phenolic character & a bit of a rustic Fiano character; better than most Fianos from Apulia.

More firklesnick from THeBloodyPulpit:
1. I don't recall on release that this Fiano showed much, if any, VM/skin-contact character. But I was picking a bit of mature VM character in this wine. Certainly, their '22 Fiano was made w/ skin-contact. I had the '13 Fiano several yrs ago & liked it quite a lot but didn't pick up any mature VM character.
But Ryan & Megan are making world-class Fiano as good as any from Apulia. A noble expression of this grape.
