Cracked this last night for my white wine:
1. CowanCllrs RibollaGialla RRV (12.9%; www.CowanCellars.com) SantaRosa 2016: Med.dark gold color; strong RG/white pepper/pungent some phenolic/V/resinous slight orange marmalade/honeyed/honey grahamsrather complex nose; lightly tart/tangy strong RG/peppery/floral lightly VM/pungent/resinous/phenolic bit orange marmalade/honeyed/honey graham rather complex flavor w/ very light tannic bite; very long/lingering complex/honeyed finish that mirrors flavor; a skin-contact/VM RG that's just starting to come into balance and becoming very delicious; should go another 3-6 yrs; as lost most of the tannic bite from its youth; an absolutely beautiful VM RG.

More cowabunga from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. In it's youth, this was a pretty typical VM RG w/ lots of austere tannic character and not particularly attractive. I was a bit surprised that it had evolved into such a lovely RG this soon. An excellent example of how VM can evolve.
