Had these last night at DinDin:
1. Forlorn-Hope CheninBlanc RorickHeritageVnyd/CalaverasCnty/SierraFoothills (12.37%; www.ForlornHopeWines.com) MatthewRorickWines/Murphys 2019: Med.gold color; strong pear/CB/slight floral slight stony/chalky slight steely rather attractive bit complex nose; fairly tart/tangy light floral/pear/CB light chalky/stony/mineral rather lightweight fairly innocuous flavor; med.short lightweight finish that mirrors flavor; a pretty CB nose but that's about all this wine has going for it; has not put on weight & has not developed much nuance; a pretty classic Oakland wines.

2. Once&Future Zin BedrockVnyd/SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty (13.77%; 126 yr old vines; 30% new Fr.oak; 200 cs; pH: 3.51, TA: 0.58 gm/100ml; Bttld: Nov 2015) Joel Peterson/Sonoma 2014: Dark color w/ some bricking; slightly musty/TCA some blackberry/Zin/spicy bit SV Zin/peppery slight pencilly/oak bit earthy/tired nose; lightly tart slight SV/peppery/blackberry/Zin/spicy rather tired bit musty/TCA light pencilly/oak flavor w/ light dried-out tannins; the TCA pretty much gutted this wine & not much left; should have been much better.

More sittrslop from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. O&F: I had high expectations for this wine. Should have pretty much been prime time. But the TCA pretty much robbed this wine of everything. Later in the evening, the TCA really started to come on strong. So sad... will try my last btl again.
