Had these two wines last night at dinner:
1. Ryme GrunerVeltliner AlegriaVnyd/RRV/SonomaCnty (12.0%; http://www.RymeCellars.com) Geyserville 2022: Light gold color; fairly fragrant GV/white pepper/bit spicy some floral/white flowers rather subdued/quiet pretty nose; rather tart/tangy slight metallic quiet some floral/GV/white pepper/carnations slight earthy/chalky flavor; med.long lightly floral/GV finish that mimic flavor; a lightweight/quiet expression of GV that's nudging up against bland; rather underwhelming; can do much better from Austria at a cheaper price; may put on weight & gain intensity but it's a gamble. $38.00

More dricklefrat from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Gruner: I was expecting more of this wine from Rhyme. Fresh off the bus, so will try again in a few months.
