I do not usually purchase Australian wines but had this QPR last Saturday at a local wine store public tasting. The wine was fresh, bright, great acidity and lovely riesling fruit with a good finish. I was very surprised as this was a cool weather white not like the many warm weather chards or other whites from OZ or the west coast. What made it even more enjoyable it was $7.50. I ordered a case. Believe this is a widely available market wine that really hit its stride in '05.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse but I have had this wine over three nights and it just keeps on going. It was great with a spicey crawfish etouffee (last night) and a jazzed up pork/veggie stir fry (two nights ago). The first night was just a glass by itself. If anything it seems to put on some weight. This is my QPR white for the year. Would be interested if anyone has tried this wine and could confirm my findings. Maybe this just fits my palate/style.

Walt, I am a big fan of Oz rieslings and there are some termendous wines out there. Do not know this one however. Some cellar very well of course, the `99 Morts Vale is drinking superb right now.
Summer is a-coming, will be tasting in good company I hope my end!! Am also developing a Grun Vee twitch.
