- 2020 Bedrock Wine Co. Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County - USA, California, Sonoma County (11/13/2023)
The first time I had the Bedrock Sonoma Cabernet it was the 2017, and it really seemed more like a “generic” Bedrock wine than a Cabernet Sauvignon. This is not at all like that. Between the cassis fruit and light touch of pyrazine it’s obviously Cabernet Sauvignon, and the back end structure reinforces the varietal character. It’s not the most complex Cab, but for under $30 who can complain. Drink now if you like some obvious structure. Hold for a few more years if not.
