Wow!
This is an Old World style wine. Beautiful deep ruby color. Nose shows blackberry and cherry and earth. Palate has black pepper, earth, and black fruit. Long, tannic finish.
I would think this would probably lay down for a few years... if you can find it!
Delicious with a hearty broth-based mushroom soup and grilled pork chops.
