1994 Domaine St. Benoit Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grande Garde - 1994 Domaine St. Benoit Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grande Garde - this wine is still fairly dark but has lightened edges and slight browning. The nose is quite good - dark fruit (cherry?) and some smoky meaty notes, and a very decent finish. Smooth long finish. I've tried this wine every 2-3 years and this is my ast bottle. If you have it and have a cool cellar it should last a fair while yet.
