1995 Ch. Potensac - excellent fairly dark colour, lightening at the rim, very nice nose of smoky dark fruit and hints of saddle leather and good length. The only indication of age was that an hour later it began to fade slightly. If you've got this one, drink up and enjoy.
One caveat - I have a cool cellar. Those with warmer cellars or dubious provenance for the wine may find it further along.

Potensac hasn't crossed my path in awhile, but it used to be my favorite "affordable" Bordeaux. Not surprised that this one made the distance (almost).
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I've enjoyed a lot of Potensac, good value that ages well in short to mid term. No 1995, but CT says I have 2000 -should try to locate and try.

I recently won a half case of the 96 with good fills at auction (it was inexpensive) and the first bottle was very good and holding still.
