- 2020 Château Thivin Côte de Brouilly Les Griottes de Brulhié - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Côte de Brouilly (9/2/2023)
Similar to some of the other 2020 Thivin bottlings, this is quite dense, and the fruit is much darker than I would normally expect. There’s also a cinnamon spice note that is tasty but unexpected. I enjoyed the wine, but it left me wondering if this is what we have come to with climate changed Beaujolais.
